Language
The language used in this script is informal. The target audience for this media products is of teenagers aged 12-25 which is reinforced by the films 12A BBFC rating and use of ideal self teenage actors in order to make the film relatable to the audience. Informal language is used in order to make the film appeal to the audience since teenagers often use slang and incorrect grammar / sentences when communicating with others. Since the film also targets a primarily C2DE audience, the use of informal language again helps the film occur more relatable and enjoyable for the audience. For example, the initial dialog at the start of the film starts by a man saying "hey kiddo, you gotta try this". The two words 'kiddo' and 'gotta' are cut down words commonly used by teenagers and stereotypically people within the C2DE section on the NRS scale, therefore make the audience able to relate to the scenario and actors.
